A Heartwarming Naperville Thanksgiving Tradition: Mesón Sabika’s Complimentary Holiday Dinners

Every Thanksgiving, the Naperville community gathers around one of its most cherished traditions, sharing gratitude, compassion, and a delicious meal courtesy of Mesón Sabika. Since 2001, this beloved Spanish restaurant has opened its heart to individuals and families in need by providing complimentary traditional Thanksgiving dinners to celebrate America’s special holiday.

For Thanksgiving Day 2025, Thursday, November 27th, Mesón Sabika in Naperville and its sister restaurant, Tapas Valencia in Chicago, will once again prepare 4,000 traditional turkey dinners “to-go” for those who could use a little extra warmth this season. Each meal will include turkey with all the trimmings, lovingly packed and ready for pickup between 10:30 AM and 1 PM on Thanksgiving Day.

A Tradition of Giving Since 2001

For over two decades, restaurateur Hossein Jamali and his dedicated team have made it their mission to ensure that everyone, no matter their circumstances, can enjoy a comforting Thanksgiving meal. As Jamali explains, these dinners are available for those in need, “no matter if the need is financial, physical, or emotional.”

It’s a tradition rooted in gratitude and kindness. Each year, Jamali counts his blessings and encourages others to help spread the word so that no one feels left out on Thanksgiving Day.

How to Reserve a Complimentary Meal

Pre-orders are required for this special event, and reservations are filling quickly. As of October 23, 2025, more than 2,300 meals had already been reserved.
